Basil Pork Chops with Brown Rice

12 oz boneless pork loin chops, trimmed (3 chops)1 Tbsp. olive oil1/4 tsp. garlic powder1/4 tsp. onion powder1/4 tsp. thyme1 Tbsp. flour1 cup cooked brown ricea few sprigs of fresh basil, torn1/2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan3/4 c. chicken broth1/8 c. dry sherry
Sprinkle pork shops with seasonings and flour. Heat olive oil in fry pan. When the oil is hot, fry chops until nice and brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
Remove pork chops to plate. Add basil, chicken broth, parmesan and sherry to pan and bring to boil. Add brown rice and simmer until broth is reduced to your desired consistency.
