11/2 cups Self Raising Flour1/4 teaspoon salt3 Tablespoons sugar1 egg3/4 cup milk
Sift flour and salt: add sugar. Make a well in centre of flour mixture.
Beat egg and add to milk, Pour into the well and gradually beat in the flour.
Get frypan hot and then reduce heat slightly and put in tablespoons of mixture.
When bubbles appear on the surface, turn with spatula and cook through.
Cover with clean cloth to keep them soft. Butter and serve.
