Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef, lean1/2 medium yellow onion, finely diced2 tsp minced garlic (or 2 cloves, crushed)1 can cream of mushroom soup4 tbsp heavy cream1 cup sour creamgarlic salt & black pepper to taste
Directions
In a skillet (I used cast iron), brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. When fully browned, drain off the excess fat. Add to the skillet the cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, garlic salt, and black pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the sour cream, stir, and simmer an additional 5 minutes. Serve over steamed rice or cooked pasta.
