Vegan Italian-Style Sausage

Ingredients
2 c Bob's Red Mill TVP1/4 c Whole Grain Oats1 Tbsp Whole Flax Seed1 tsp Cayenne Powder2 tsp Red Chile Flakes1 tsp Whole Fennel Seed1 tsp Garlic Powder2 tsp Onion Powder1 Tbsp Black Pepper2 tsp Italian Seasoning1 Cube Knorr Vegetarian Vegetable Bouillon1 Tbsp Soy Sauce1 Tbsp Red Miso2 1/2 c Boiling Water
Directions
Finely grind oats, flax seed and fennel and place in a large bowl. Add TVP and seasonings and mix together well.

In a separate container, mix together boiling water, soy sauce, bouillon and miso. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours before use.

When ready to use, take out 1/2 c and saute over medium heat until heated through, approximately 3 minutes. Can also be formed into patties and browned over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side.
