Mock Pasta and Red Sauce

1 cup broccoli stems/stalks1 medium carrot1 cup red cabbage1 clove garlicpinch of salt1/2 tsp oregano (dried)1/2 tsp basil (dried)3/4 cup spaghetti sauce (homemade or from the store)
1. Julienne the broccoli stems, carrot, and cabbage. Dice the garlic and set it aside.
2. Steam vegetables in salted water until softened, ~5 minutes.
3. Meanwhile saute garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add oregano and basil. Drain vegetables; add to garlic and oil. Toss. Add pasta sauce and heat.
4. Serve.
