Overnight bolognese

Ingredients
350g lean beef mince350g minced Pork6 medium carrots2 medium white onions, chopped1.5 medium red onions, chopped5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped250 ml Red Wine500g Passata
Directions
First brown the meat in small portions in a frying pan (tasty, tasty Maillard reactions) add each portion to a pre-heated slow cooker. Next (in the same pan) fry the garlic and onions until soft and beginning to brown. Add these, along with the carrots and passata to the slow cooker. Deglaze the pan with the wine (remember to scrape any burnt crispy bits free) and add to the slow cooker. Add the remaining wine to the slow cooker and leave the house, the smell will haunt you until time to eat.
