Traditional Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients
64 oz. vegetable juice cocktail (such as V-8)1 pound cooked shrimp, chopped2 tablespoons lime juice1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce2 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and chopped1 medium red onion, chopped2 avocados, chopped3 tablespoons minced cilantro1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a very large nonreactive container. Adjust seasonings to taste. Refrigerate. Will keep for several days. Serve with tortilla chips.
