Von's Lentil Soup

Ingredients
1 cup dry lentils5 cups of water2 cups diced onions4 cloves minced garlic4 chopped carrots1 tbl olive oil1/2 tsp sea salt
Directions
In one pot, saute diced onions and minced garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent. Add in water, lentils, chopped carrots, and sea salt. Cook on medium heat for about 40 minutes or until desired texture reached.
