Ingredients
4 cups sifted all-purpose flour2 tablespoons double-acting baking powder1 teaspoon salt1 stick margarine3/4 cup nonfat milk3/4 cup soy milk
Directions
Sift the flour into your mixing bowl along with the baking powder and the salt. Using a fork or two knives (I use a pastry cutter), blend the margarine and flour mixture into small pieces. Add the two milks and stir until everything is incorporated. Then pour out onto a floured surface and knead for about a minute- it should be a soft dough. You can either pat or roll the dough out to your desired thickness (I go about 3/4 -1 inch for really tall biscuits) and cut into rounds or squares. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes depending on how thick you made them.
Makes about 12 Huge Yummy Biscuits.
