Directions
Stir until mixed. (here is where you "add water to make a stiff and firm dough") Turn out on a floured surface and knead 20 minutes. Return to a bowl and let rise until double in bulk. Keen down and let rise again. Shape and form into 4 loaves and put into pans. Let rise again until doubled. Bake in oven at 325 for 1 hour.
