1/4 cup (4 Tbsp) Egg Substitute (I used Egg Beaters, Original)1 oz (1/8 cup) Vanilla Almondmilk (I used Almond Breeze)1/4 tsp Nutmeg1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract2 Slices 100% Whole Grain Bread (I used Nature's Own Sugar Free 100% Whole Grain Bread)Non-stick Cooking Spray
Spray a 10-inch non-stick skillet or griddle with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat.
Combine egg substitute, almondmilk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract in shallow dish; whisk to combine.
Soak the bread slices in batter, flipping once, allow to soak for 10 seconds on each side. Places the slices of bread into the pan and cook until golden brown, approximately 4-5 minutes per side; flipping once.
Serve immediately.
Can be topped with maple syrup, sprinkled Splenda, honey, whipped cream or fruit (all toppings listed are not included in the nutritional value. Any toppings added should be calculated separately)
