Main Course Cabbage Soup

Ingredients:2 medium heads green cabbage2 Carrots2 Celery stalks1-2 diced Onions2 small diced Potatoes32 oz Chicken Broth32 oz water3 cups diced ham1 serving diced Turkey Smoked SausageThyme, Marjoram, Bay leaf, Pepper, Garlic
Sautee Onions, Celery and Carrots.
Add herbs & seasonings, chicken stock, water, potatoes, ham and sausage.
Simmer uncovered for at least 30 min.
Add cabbage and simmer 15 to 20 min more until cabbage is translucent but not over cooked.
Serve with croutons topped with a little bit of cheese (Muenster, Gouda, Blue or Gruyere are all good.)
