2 c. brown rice, uncooked5. c. of chicken broth or water with chicken consume added2 Tbs. onion chopped2 Tbs. bell pepper chopped2 Tbs. frozen corn2 Tbs. frozen peas2 Tbs. fresh chopped cilantro2 Tbs. frozen carrots1/2 C. of any pasta sauce
I find a frozen mixture of onions and peppers in the freezer section at walmart and I use this in several things, like this.
In a sauce pan bring chicken broth to a boil and add brown rice, pasta sauce and veggies. Cook by the directions on the bag of rice, abount 30 to 40 minutes or till liquid is absorbed.
