Carolyn's I'm Sick Soup

Ingredients
7 oz Eckrich smoked sausage16 oz of water1 fresh carrot sliced, or chopped1 cup green bell pepper chopped1 boil in bag, bag of Success brown rice1/4 cup of raw onion chopped2 cups of Swanson fat-free low sodium chicken broth
Directions
Start by cooking the rice and then sit the rice to the side while sauteing the sausage,after that put it to the side and chop the vegetables and put them in a small pot (sauce pan). Next put the meat,water, vegetables, and broth into the pot and cook on medium heat until done add seasoning to taste. try to put the rice in last so that it doesn't swell and absorb the juice.
