Stuffed Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)1/2 cup long cooking rice6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage2 tsp. salt1 tsp. pepper2 tbsp. dry minced onion6 cups water
Directions
Brown ground beef with onion. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 1 hour.

    Very good! It's a solid, basic recipe that I enjoyed as is but could certainly alter if I wanted too. I made enough to freeze the leftovers, but there weren't any! My husband ate them all. lol
    I didn't add the rice, but I'm sure it's tasty with that too. - 11/13/12

    I made this last night and it was good.. I made it with ground turkey, which I think takes away from the flavour.. next time I am going to have to add some more spices to it to or use lean ground beef. - 2/5/08
