1 lb of ground turkey, thawed.2 medium Bell peppers1 large onion1 can of black beans 1 large can of chili beans, or kidney beans ( add more seasoning) 2-3 tbsp of garlic or 3 cloves approx.1 tbsp of salt3 tbsp of chili powder1 tsp of coriander, ground1 tsp of cumin, groundTomatoes - canned or fresh, approx 3-4 medium to large.* if you like thicker chili, I would add tomato paste as well.
Brown turkey and some onions with 1 tbsp of the chili powder. Meanwhile chop veggies and add to crock pot. Add beans and tomatoes. Add seasoning and Turkey when finished cooking. ( I usually don't drain mine as it is so low fat.) Mix and set crock pot for low heat for 8 hours. If you add raw beef or chicken I would set it to 10 hours.
