Crockpot Elk Stew

Ingredients
Elk Meat - rolled roast (1/2)3 red potatoes2 cups baby carrots1/2 cup onion1/2 clove elephant garlic1 stick of celery1 pkg dry onion soup mix2 cans cream of mushroom soup2-3 cans of water
Directions
Place elk roast in crock pot. Add cut onions, celery, and garlic. Sprinkle one package of dry onion soup mix over roast. Add cut carrots and potatoes. Open and our over mixture two cans of cream of mushroom soup. Add 2-3 cans of water. Cook on low in crock pot for 8-10 hours.

    This recipe was awesome!What I did differently was cut the Elk into bite size pieces browned them in EVO. Also used 1 can of cream of potato 1 can of cream of chicken,(we don't care for mushrooms), 20+ ounces of chicken broth instead just water. MMMM It was a Christmas dinner that will be repeated! - 12/26/09
