Smoked sausage with sweet potato, apple and cabbage

Ingredients
1 lb smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1/2" slices2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2" cubes1 large onion, diced1 bag coleslaw mix or 1 head cabbage, chopped1 large firm apple, cored and diced14.5 oz chicken broth2T prepared yellow mustard2T yellow mustard seen (optional)
Directions
Pour chicken broth and mustard into a large frying pan with a lid. Whisk together and bring to a boil. Add mustard seed, onions and sweet potatoes. Cook for 7 minutes, until sweet potatoes are slightly soft. Add cabbage and sausage, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add apple and cook for 5 minutes, Serve.
