Tea Biscuit

Ingredients
2 cups flour4 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt1/4 cup shortening1 cup milk
Directions
Mix flour, baking powder & salt. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender or fingers. Make well in center, add milk slowly. When all milk is added stir vigorously till it comes free from side. Turn onto floured surface and kneed lightly a few times. Roll out to 1/2 in. thickness and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 deg. 12 to 15 min.
