Baked Steak

Ingredients
2 lb round or cubed steak1 c white flour4 C beef brothsalt and pepper to taste4 T vegetable oil
Directions
Heat oil in a deep skillet, Dredge steak in flour and place in skillet. Brown on both sides - 2 minutes each side. Place in 9 by 13 pan or crockpot. Once all steak has been browned add remaining flour to the oil, whisk together to form a paste. Slowly add broth, whisking into a smooth gravy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring gravy to a full boil then pour over steaks. Bake in 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or in crockpot up to 4 hours.
