Pineapple Sweet Potatoes with Almonds

Ingredients
7 medium yams, boiled20 oz. can crushed pineapple in pineapple juice, drained1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice (can use any cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. spice mix)1 tbsp sliced almonds
Directions
1. Boil yams until soft when pierced with fork
2. Drain water, then slice yams in half width-wise and slide pulp out of skin (use paper towel to hold yams, they're hot!), use knife to cut off potato ends where necessary
3. Mash yams, then add pineapple (drain before adding), mix, add spices, mix well
4. Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle almonds on top
