1 (12 oz.) box ziti pasta1 lb. extra lean ground beef4 cups spaghetti sauce1 (15 oz.) container fat-free ricotta cheese1/4 cup egg substitute 1 cup part-skim mozzarella, shredded1/2 cup reduced-fat parmesan cheese, grated1 tsp dried Italian seasoning1/2 tsp onion powder1/2 tsp garlic powder1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta according to box directions; drain. In a large pan, cook ground beef until no pink remains; drain any liquid and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together ricotta cheese and egg; stir in cheeses, seasonings, beef and pasta until well combined. Pour in sauce and stir until completely incorporated. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish (2 quart size or larger) and cover with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Serve warm.
