Ingredients

    Ground Beef 93% Lean, 16 oz
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, seasoned, .5 cup
    Garlic, 1 clove minced
    Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    salt to taste
    ground pepper to taste

Directions

Mix ingredients, form into medium sized balls - slightly larger than a golf ball, braise in half a cup of water until water evaporates and meatballs brown. Then add to your favorite sauce - tomato or brown gravy. Feel free to experiment.

    Not great, but definitely good! I don't think there's a need to add more herbs if you're using Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. I wish they would have been browner, too. I think next time I'll skip the herbs, cook the meatballs on a higher heat, and then have them cook a while in a pot of (red) gravy. - 2/4/11
