Directions
The peas are dried split green peas.
Saute the onion until soft. Add half of the diced zucchini and saute for another 3 minutes. Mix with broth and the hydrated split peas. Add a teaspoon of tumeric, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 40 minutes.
Steam the rest of the diced zucchini for one minute and add to the soup right before serving.
