Wild Rice soup

Ingredients
1/3c onion8tbsp butter1/2C. Flour4C. Chicken Broth3C cooked wild rice1/2C. Shredded Carrots2C. Cooked diced chicken1/2C. Slivered Almonds1/2tsp Salt1C. Half and Half2 tbsp dry Sherry wine
Directions
In large sauce pan saute onion in butter
Add flour stirring constantly until bubbly
Gradually stir in broth
Add wild rice, carrots, chicken, almonds, and salt, simmer for 5 minutes
Add half and half and Sherry, heat through
