1 lb ground beef9 lasagna noodles4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese1 small white onion, chopped1 Jar of Newmans Own Sockrooni (or your fave sauce!)1/2 cup water (well actually 1/2 a jar full from the sauce jar)1 teaspoon minced garlic1/4 teaspoon pepper (more or less to taste!)
1: Preheat oven to 400. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile,brown ground beef, onion, garlic, and pepper, than drain excess fat.
2: Return beef to pot and add the spaghetti sauce, fill the sauce jar 1/2 way with water,put the cover back on, shake and pour into the pot. 1/2 the Mozzarella cheese, stir to mix and keep on low heat till noodles are ready, careful not to burn it.
3: Lightly spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Place 3 lasagna noodles in bottom. Add 1/3 of the meat mixture. Repeat layers twice, ending with a layer of the meat mixture on the top.
4: Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top. Bake uncovered for 30 to 45 minutes.
