Pumpkin soup

Ingredients
1 large Onion, chopped3/4 cup Scallions, chopped1/4 cup Light butter1 (16 oz) can Pumpkin4 cups Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free1 Bay Leaf1 tsp Sugar1 tsp Curry powder1 tsp NutmegSeveral Parsley sprigs2 cups fat free Half and HalfSalt and pepper
Directions
Sauté onion and scallions in butter. Stir in pumpkin, broth, bay leaf, sugar, curry, nutmeg, and parsley. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Transfer soup into food processor and purée. Return to pan and add half and half, salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
