3 chicken breasts2 15 oz. cans black beans, undrained2 15 oz. cans Mexican stewed tomatoes1 cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot)4 oz. can diced green chilis14.5 oz. can tomato sauceAddition (not calculated in nutrition facts):sprinkle (reduced fat) cheddar cheese and crumbed (multigrain) tortilla chips on top before serving.
1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker (except chips and cheese).
2. Cook on low for 8 hours (or on high for 4 hours if you're in a rush)
3. Shred chicken in slow cooker with a long spoon and fork.
4. Optional: sprinkle cheddar cheese and tortilla chips on top.
Serving Size: Makes 6-8 servings
