Waldorf Salad With Fresh Cherries

Ingredients
3 medium apples cored and chopped in bite size pieces. Use a variety for a unique flavor. I like to use 1 granny smith and 2 Fuji's. 1/2 cup cool whip fat free1/4 cup water3/4 cup Splenda2 tbsp finely chopped walnuts1/2 cup pitted cherries
Directions
Core apples and cut into bite size pieces, making sure to remove all seeds.
Leave the peels on the apple, it adds taste and color.
Place in bowl with pitted cherries.
In separate bowl combine water, cool whip, Splenda and walnuts. Mix well.
For a thicker dressing use less water.
Add cool whip mixture to apples and cherries,mix just until combined.
Chill for 1 hr, best if chilled overnight.
