SUZANNA'S DELICIOUS, QUICK & EASY TURKEY CHILI STEW

Ingredients
Ingredients:• Vegetable cooking spray• 1 whole (1-inch pieces) cut yellow onion• 1- 2 whole (1-inch pieces) cut red, yellow or green bell pepper (• 2-3 tablespoons coarsely chopped jarred jalapeno pepper • 3 cloves fresh, minced garlic• 1 pound freshly ground turkey• 2 -3 tablespoons chili powder (add according to taste)• 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (I like cumin so I usually add a little- okay a lot more)• 1/4 teaspoon salt• 1 – 14-16 oz can whole kernel corn, with liquid (or 1 box frozen)• 2 - 141/2 oz can chopped tomatoes (I use Italian style for the extra herbs)• 1 - 16 oz can pinto beans6 servings / 199 calories per 1 1/3 cup serving / 3.1 grams fat
Directions
To Prepare:
• Coat a medium soup pot with cooking spray and heat until hot
• Add onion and bell pepper; sautι 2-3 minutes
• Add jalapeno pepper and garlic; sautι another 2-3 minutes, or until onion is tender
• Add ground turkey; cook until turkey is browned (about 5 minutes)
• Add remaining spices and stir well
• Add all the cannded goods and stir well
• Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated
