Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
1/3 cup diced onion2 cloves garlic, chopped1 Tbs red chilli pepper flakes or cayenne pepper (add more if you want more spice)1 Tbs olive oil1/3 cup water2 Tbs peanut butter2 Tbs hoisin sauce1 Tbs ketchup2 tsp sugar
Directions
Heat oil over medium heat in a small sauce pan. Add diced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add garlic and chilli flakes, cook for 2 more minutes. Add all remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring until everything melts and is thoroughly mixed together. Let cool before serving.

Serving Size: makes approximately 1 cup sauce, or 16 1Tbs servings
