Jumping Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients
2 cups cold water1 avocado, peeled and pitted1/2 cup fresh parsley1 apple, cored and seeded1 carrot, cut into chunks1 lemon, peeled and seeded1 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, more to taste2 ice cubes (optional)1 Tbsp. flaxseed (optional)
Directions
Blend water, avocado, parsley, apple, carrot, lemon, kale, ginger, ice cubes, and flaxseed in a blender on high until smooth, 10 to 15 seconds.

Serving Size: Makes 1 smoothie.
