Ingredients
1 lb of lean ground chuck (80 %)1 pkg of tofu cut into cubes (15 oz pkg)1 onion, chopped1/2 a small can of tomato paste1 cup of grape tomatoes1 tbp curry powder1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon, turmeric, gingersalt and pepper to your tasteCayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to your taste.
Directions
Sautee the ground chuck with the onion. When the onions are soft and the meat is no longer pink, drain off the fat. Add the tomatoes and the spices. Crush the tomatoes and tofu cubes stir while frying. Fry 2-5 minutes until the tomatoes are softened and well cooked and the tofu is browned somewhat. Add the tomato paste and enough water to make a nice gravy. Simmer for another 10 minutes or until the tomatoes are thoroughly cooked.
