Hearty Chicken Stew with Fennel and Tomato

Ingredients
Directions
Melt butter in a medium stock pot on medium high heat.
Cut each chicken breast into 4 pieces and brown in the melted butter.
Turn heat to medium.
Add sliced fennel and onion and stir until soft, about 8 minutes.
Add broth and canned tomatos.
Cook approximately 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add additional water during cooking as necessary for the consistency you like.
