Very tasty! I didn't use the mandarins, not a fan, used o.j. instead. Cut cinnamon a bit, half the brown sugar, and next time less clove. Will make again. Would be a great sauce for pulled pork! Thanks! - 11/2/10

Very nice recipe. I'm like things more tangy than sweet, so I put less brown sugar and more mustard! - 4/23/11

Wow! Very good...did not have mandarin oranges, but I did have fresh seedless oranges...I squeezed 2 in and peeled and cut up one for the chunks...my husband loved it. - 11/3/09

This seemed almost like a dessert - SO sweet! We'll try to lower our carbs next time with less sugar. Ran out of ketchup so halved with BarBQ Sauce. Yum! Our pork chops were a little tough - used boneless mini ones and so didn't let it cook as long; perhaps more cooking time tenderizes better. - 12/4/08

This was yummy, yummy, yummy! I will make this again but will use less brown sugar as it was a little too sweet for me. My hubby and 9 year old daughter loved it and it's a perfect meal to pair with rice! - 6/4/08

Used mutton chops, it was great but too much sugar added ginger. Used oranges as do not get canned oranges. Would be great with fish & chicken too. - 5/26/21

This sauce is delicious...will be good fot a number of things...I'll definitely make it again! I overcooked the chops a little bit and will use tenderloin next time. Thanks! - 1/7/18

A tasty sauce. I didn't use all the cinnamon, cut back on the sugar, used less cloves and added garlic. I cooked my sauce down a bit so it was like a thick glaze. The next time - and there will be a next time - I might even double the sauce as it was that good! - 12/6/17

Cut the brown sugar a bit, used just OJ. Served with brown rice--it was very good. - 10/11/13

We really enjoyed this. We, too, used a fresh orange cut into bites rather than the mandarin oranges, and we used fresh orange juice instead of the canned juice. It was a terrific recipe; thanks for sharing. My husband said, "We should definitely put this in the rotation!" - 4/8/13

Used pork tenderloin instead of chops (didn't have that), half the brown sugar, fresh oranges juice and a little tabasco sauce. Cooked it for 25 minutes and served it with Basmati rice and peas.
    Absolutely delicious.
    Thanks. - 2/1/12
