Easy Yummy Minestrone Soup

1/2 Lb. lean ground beef1/2 C. chopped onion2 Cans (14.5 oz each) Ready Cut Italian Style Tomatoes2 C. chopped Swiss Chard2 C. beef broth (low sodium)1 can kidney beans (rinse well)1 can garbanzo beans (rinse well)1 can cut green beans, drained1 C. dry small shell macaroni, cooked and drained
In a large pot brown ground beef and onion; drain fat. Add tomatoes and Swiss Chard. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes. Add beef broth, beans, and macaroni; stir gently. Simmer until hot.
Recipe originally called for the canned items to be poured in, liquid and all. I drain all the beans, add them, and add water to make up the difference.
