Sweet and Sour Cantonese Meat Balls

Ingredients

1 Lb Ground Beef1 large egg1 tsp Corn Starch1 1/2 tsp fine chopped onionSauce:1/3 cup pineapple juice1/3 can pineapple chunks1 small green pepper3 tbsp vinegar3 tbsp water3 tbsp cornstarch1/3 cup sugar1 tbsp soy sauce2/3 cup stock
Mix well and form into balls about the size of a walnut. Fry and turn in hot olive oil until brown. When brown remove to baking dish.
In oil of meat add:
1/3 cup pineapple juice and 1/3 of can of pineapple chunks
1 small green pepper, cut into small pieces and cook over low heat a few minutes.
Make Sauce by adding:
2 Tbsp Vinegar
3 Tbsp Water
3 Tbsp Cornstarch
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2/3 Cup Stock
Cook until thickened, then add to Meat Balls.
Bake for about 15 minutes while flavors blend
OPTION: Put meat balls and sauce in a slow cooker and set on low. Can serve right from slow cooker.
