Ingredients
.5 cup nutritonal yeast4 tbsp whole wheat flour1 tbsp olive oil2 cups hot water4 tsp Braggs liquid aminos (can use tamari if you perfer)herbs and spices to taste, i use about .25 tsp each, basil, dill, taragon, sage, black pepper. and about .5 tsp garlic granules.
Directions
brown yeast and whole wheat flour in cast iron skillet, then add olive oil and mix, slowly add in hot water to desired consistincy. add braggs and spices to desired taste. drizzle over veggies or scrambled tofu. makes 2 cups, serving size 2 tbsp.

    Just made this to go with dinner. It is much better than other nutritional yeast recipes I have tried. I think I over browned the flour and yeast though, still good. Will definitely make it again. - 8/22/11

    Excellent. I have served it over lentil loaf, and I have also served it over polenta and veggies. Impress your non vegan friends :) BTW, I redid the nutritional info and I got a lower carb number. - 5/4/08
