2 Cans of Chickpeas 1/2 Bag of Glory Kale 1/2 bag of diced onions and green peppers ( frozen)1/2 bag of mixed red yellow and green pepper slices (frozen) 1/2 cup of mushrooms sliced 1/2 bag of carrot matchsticks 2 cups of water 3tbsp Cinnamon ground 4 tbsp. Ginger ground 1tbsp ground turmeric 2tbsp Salt ( or salt to taste) 2tbsp Honey 1 jar of Patak * Tikka Masala Curry Sauce
combine all vegetable ingredients and water in pot on medium heat .
stir add cinnamon, ginger and turmeric and stir some more. cook , covered until kale is tender to your taste. stirring the ingredients to blend the spices and distribute the heat from the fire. when kale and mushrooms appear tender, add jar of PATAK sauce.
to thicken, add cornstarch mixed with water into stew and stir. once Stew is thick, simmer, and stir in honey. Add Salt to taste .. The dish is very aromatic with a spicy kick.
Serving Size: makes about 12 servings
