Warm Bread Salad with Tomatos

Ingredients
1/2 Cup Olive Oil6 Cloves garlic, crushed but kept whole4 Cups torn baguette pieces4 Cup 1/2" diced tomatoes (cherry) divided1 Cup 1/2" diced red onion3 Tbs, red wine vinegar1 bunch fresh basil, stemmed1 Tbs capersKosher SaltGround Black Pepper
Directions
In a large saute' pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Add baguette pieces and saute' until golden brown, 4 to 5 minutes. Lower heat to medium-low, add red onion, and saute' 1 minute, then add 2 cups tomatoes. Add vinegar and remove from heat. Add basil, capers, and remaining tomatoes and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with basil leaves and serve immediately.
