Chili, Beans, Bison Crock Pot

Ingredients
Ground bison (buffalo), 538 gramsBeans, pinto, 330 gramsOnions, raw, .5 large Green Chili, Diced, 6 oz Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Garlic, 4 cloves
Directions
Cook beans in crock pot with water, until mostly soft which should be 5 to 6 hours. Add the chilis, onions and garlic after about 3 hours into cooking the beans. Meanwhile, lightly brown the bison in a frying pan. Then add the bison to the crock pot, and cook for another 60 minutes. Cook with epazote, cumin (1 tsp each), and salt/pepper to taste.
