Ingredients
Directions
1 pound of fresh, grass-fed bison (buffalo) 1 tablespoon of salt 2 tablespoon of pepper1 teaspoon of garlic powder 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon Frank's Wing Sauce 2 cloves of fresh garlic 3/4 teaspoon of cumin 1/2 teaspoon of paprika 1 cup of minced white onion Slices of cheese (optional)
ake garlic and mince thoroughly on a cutting board. Using the flat edge of the knife, press firmly onto garlic pieces until you get a minced consistency. Onions must be minced finely as they will be incorporated vigorously inside the bison burger patty. In a bowl combine bison meat, spices, onions and garlic and with your hands blend ingredients together firmly. Take this mixture and form into patties, remembering to flatten more than necessary as burgers will plump up on pan.
Turn stove to medium heat and put on a frying pan with appropriate amount of oil for frying. Fry each side for about 5 minutes or until the patties reach an even consistency. Be very careful not to overcook bison as the lack of fat causes bison burgers to burn quickly.
