Maryland Crab Soup

2.5 cups V8 juice3 cups water1 cup fresh green beans (approx)6 baby carrots (approx)1 stalk celery 2 medium red potatos (or golden for less firm) half of an onion (red or yellow)1 can or 2 ears fresh corn1 cup frozen peas1.5 cup crab meat (approx) 1 tbs old bay (low sodium)1 tbs lea & perrins worcestershire sauce1 tbs dry mustarddash of red peppersalt and pepper to taste
chop vegetables to desired size
combine liquids, veggies and seasonings in a pot and bring to a boil of med-high heat, once boiling reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes, taste test the broth after simmering to see if more seasonings are needed or more liquid if seasonings are too strong.
add the crab meat and continue to simmer for another 45 minutes
Serving Size: Makes 4 meal-sized bowls of soup
