Pea Soup

Ingredients
Split Peas, 2 cup (remove)Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Carrots, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped (remove)Garlic, 2 clove (remove)**Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 2 tbsp (remove)Sage, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Thyme, ground, .5 tsp (remove)
Directions
Saute garlic, onion and spices in 1 Tbsp Olive Oil for 3 minutes. Stir into rest of ingredients except flax.
Simmer for 45 minutes. Stir in flax and simmer another 15 minutes, stirring often.
