Beef Ragu

Ingredients
1 onion1 can diced tomatoes1 bottle tomato passata3 cloves garlic2 bay leaves6 cups water
Directions
1. seal chuck steak in a pan until brown
2. chop onion and add to steak
3. when onion is transparent add garlic
4. after 30 seconds add tomato passata
5. fill the empty bottle with water and empty into pot - do this twice
6. add diced tomatoes including juice, and bay leaves
7. bring to the boil
8. simmer for 90 - 120 minutes or until the meat is completely soft and sauce has reduced a little
9. serve on pasta - or even rice
