BBQ sauce, 1 bottle or homemade (for homemade: mix 2 cups ketchup, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 5 TBSP brown sugar, 5 TBSP sugar, 1/2 TBSP black pepper, 1/2 TBSP onion powder, 1/2 TBSP ground mustard, 1 TBSP lemon juice, 1 TBSP worcestershire sauce)1 package beef stew meat (1.35lbs)3 cups brown rice (cooked in 6 cups water)5 cups frozen mixed vegetables
Brown beef in pan. Add to slow cooker (leave as much fat behind as you can). Add BBQ sauce. Cook on high for several hours.
Add rice and vegetables 1 hour before serving.
