melt 2 tablespoon butter into a Dutch oven add or slow cocker. add salt ,pepper, 3-cups water, diced potatoes cook till soft.add broccoli . melt 2 tablespoon of butter into a small pan. add flour make a rue .add milk cheese, salt pepper, Cheyenne, tabasco.1 teaspoon mustard and a 1/4 cup beer. cook until thick and smooth. add to cooked veggies slow cook till thick .serve in bowl with sourdough bread. or serve in a sourdough bowl..enjoy.
cook veggies in salted water until done about 20mins.
turn on low .add sauce after thickened add last of butter and salt and pepper if needed. cook for about 10 mins. on med low.
