Fruit Salad (Indian style)

Milk, canned, evaporated, 1 can (13 oz) (remove)Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup (remove)Granulated Sugar, 27 tsp (remove)*Cool Whip whipped topping, 4 tbsp (remove)Cream substitute, powdered, (custard powder) 1 tsp (remove)Saffron, .25 tsp (remove)Banana, fresh, 1 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) (remove)Apples, fresh, 1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l (remove)Grapes, .5 cup, seedless (remove)Pineapple, fresh, .25 cup, diced (remove)
Heat evaporated milk, custard powder (diluted in cold milk) and regular milk in a pan for few minutes. Add sugar. Once everything blends in, take the pan off of the heat...turn heat off.....and keep the pan aside to cool off the milk mixture. Until it is cooling off cut all the fruits in dice shape (other than grapes ofcourse). Once the milk mixture is cooled off to room temperature, add saffron and whipped topping to it and blend everything in a blender. Pour the blended mixture in a container (select a container which has a lid and u can keep it in the refrigerator)...add all the fruits in it.....mix it....and keep in the refrigerator to chill......serve it chill from the refrigerator.
