Ingredients

    1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 white flour
    1/2 C. whole wheat lour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 large eggs
    1/4 tsp cardamon seed
    1 tsp. garam masala
    1 C. sugar
    1/4 C. ghee
    1 1/2 C/ grated carrots
    2 Tb. shelled pistachios
    2 Tb. chopped almonds
    2 Tb. raisins

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Rub a 9" pie pan with the oil and flour it. Sift the flour, salt and soda together. Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the cardamon, garam masala, sugar and drizzle in the melted ghee. Add the flour. Fold in the carrots, nuts, and raisins. Pour into the cake pan and bake for 35-40 min. or till a toothpick comes out clean.
