Hearty Soup

Ingredients
1-2 lbs. grassfed ground beef or venison2-3 med. to large yukon gold potatoes, diced1 c. diced or sliced raw carrots1/2 c. diced celery1 c. diced onion 1 large can diced tomatoes4 oz. wild rice1/2 med. head of cabbage, chopped1 1/2 qt. watersalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown ground beef/venison, drain if necessary. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, cabbage, and tomatoes and mix well. Add in enough water to cover vegetables and add in wild rice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until vegetables are tender - 1 to 2 hours, or place in crockpot for 6-8 hours on low.
